Thank you, Stu Maddux, for allowing us nursing students join in on the screening today at Marin General. This documentary really gave me insight of a specific elderly population in relation to healthcare.

Can the actions or words from God contradict His character or attributes?-On a piece of paper write God’s attributes/Character in one column. Next to it research the Bible and you’ll see that many acts attributed to God [murder, rape, theft, killing of children, stealing another's bride, torture,etc] contradict justice, holiness, mercy…
Earlier i was at home having a “moment” in the CR. There I was happily taking a crap and brushing my teeth at the same time when my boyfriend walked in and shrieked “thats disgusting”. I looked at him and frowned. I said “what, bitch!! You suck my cock after I have just been in your ass so what are you talking about”. Sometimes I forget that relationships suck! At least as a gay couple we can’t marry and I won’t have to pay the bitch alimoney or child support if it doesnt work out!
All you Christian Godly Homophobes: Tell me why a kid as young as 11 “chooses” to be gay and then try to kill themself because they are? Those gay, mostly Christian, youth I have tried to help understand their worth have tried slit their throat, hanged themself, burned themself, jump off a cliff etc.

I am almost fifty and my husband is in his fifties…and we have talked about this many times. It is a terrifying prospect to think that as we near the end of our time together, at a time when we will need each other the most, that we could end up separated or forced back into the closet for fear of it.

The more I find out about the behavior of religious bigots the more I realize that they deliberately prey on the vulnerable – children, the elderly, sexual minorities, the homeless and the disabled. The Catholic abuse scandals are just the tip of the iceberg. There should be legislation to keep religiously abusive people out of the caring professions.

I was so appalled that these wonderful fighters for LGBT rights are now living with fear. Its just so sad that the younger LGBT people think that just because they have bars and clubs to go to that all is well. Wake up and respect those in your community who fought for your rights before you were even born.
I saw this tonight at my university it was one of the most touching and moving pieces I have ever seen. We as a community must do something and stand up.
I’m looking forward to watching this tomorrow.
