all i know is that i treat post-opts like any other woman and pre-opts too if they plan to have the surgery, but if they don’t plan to have the surgery then it’s just a guy in a dress

The same people tell me that “GLBT” category was created for political advantage and not necessarily because of any real affinity or shared world views among the transgendered and the others. But all of the transgendered individuals I’ve met are Americans living in the U.S. so I’ve wondered if those outside of the U.S. would answer my question very differently?
