Question: Do people who say they “accept gays” really think that GLBT people are looking for their approval?
I don’t know, but hearing someone say “I accept gays”, or “I’m gay friendly” or whatever just seems like a control thing to me. It reminds me of an old English king/queen movie where they’re tapping the knights with the sword or whatever and declaring their approval or something.
Do straight people really think GLBT’s need this “approval”?
Answer:

Well some do actually think that way, but then again, there are those who simply don’t have the vocabulary to say they “Support” gays/lesbians/bisexuals/transgenders.
Don’t take it personally, just pity their limited lexicon.
I don’t think the majority of those who say that actually believe we are looking for their approval. They mean that they support us and/or simply have no issue with us.
Question: What do you think would happen if a gay and lesbian were put in a room together?

stupid question, why would we fight? and what makes you think the lesbian would win?
lol no offence to straights but some of you make weird assumptions about us ..
Question: Do you think GLBT people get this so called “attitude” because they quit caring?
What I mean is this:
When first coming out of the closet, a GLBT person may feel sensitive and vulnerable when confronted with the harassment of straight people and right winged fundamentalists.
Then, as time goes on, that feeling changes to one possibly of anger, defensiveness, and “gung-ho” involvement in political activities and GLBT aweareness, becuase the GLBT person has gotten comfortable in their identity, but still wants to stop the harassment for their newly out GLBT community, becuase THEY have been there themselves.
Then, over time, as we get older and wiser, listening to the harassment and the homophobia, we just stop caring, because we don’t want to feed the craved attention by the homophobes and harassers. Yet, when we get to this point, and stop “feeding” the behavior, then we get accused of having an ‘attitude” if we just choose to ignore these people.
So..they don’t want us to be sensitive and take things to heart, they dont want us to get angry and defensive and stand up for ourselves, and they don’t want us to just go on with our own lives and ignore them either. What the hell DO they want?

Question: What do you think of people who are Gay and or are a Lesbian?
I’m a 32yr old straight man, Atheist ofcourse, and I think that gays and lesbians are not evil or bad or wrong. They made different choices and should not be punished for those choices. They should have the right to marraige and any legal connections to their mates.
What is your age, sexual preference, and religion?
What are your opionions about people who are gay or are lesbian?

Pity you guys can’t make up your mind if it is a choice, or not.
Gays have been telling me that they’ve been compelled to be gay – that they’re born that way.
