I respect the right of privacy, and feel that what a person of legal age does behind closed doors with another consenting adult, is not my, or any-ones concern. However, I feel there is a bit of hypocrisy in the gay community on this issue. Which is not unique, all “groups” have some degree of hypocrisy.

The hypocrisy is this. And I’m speaking in very general terms here about gays as a group, not individuals.

On the one hand they make the argument that no one should concern themselves with their private lives. They want people to mind their own business. Which they should. On the other hand, they want to bring their behavior out into the public arena for political purposes. Then, when it is out in the open, they get upset that people condemn their behavior, fail to accept their behavior, etc.

Well they can’t have it both ways. If you what it private, keep it private. If you expose it to the public, expect a wide range of opinions, many of which you will not like. Also, if you wish your point of view to be respected, even by those who disagree with you, you also have to respect the opinions of those against you.

As for me, I have no reason to hate someone because they are gay. That is a lazy mans hate, the kind of hate people have when they are just unwilling to put in the effort to develop real hate.

I have found that if you are willing to take the time to get to know someone, you usually can find a real, and legitimate reason to hate them.

Well you all have a great day.
